Celebrate with 108 Salutations

Join Savitha in a celebration of Summer Solstice.  Teacher Savitha Enner will deep dive into Sun Salutations and their significance in the yoga practice. The workshop will begin with a brief discussion on the philosophy and cultural significance of Sun Salutations followed by an authentic vinyasa flow of salutations to the musical rhythm of the 108 names of sun.

In this workshop, you will:

  • Begin with a 25-minute discussion on the philosophy and cultural significance of Sun Salutations.

  • Be guided through an authentic and energizing vinyasa flow of salutations to the musical rhythm of the 108 names of sun.

  • Culminate in a cool down and savanna, experiencing the deep benefits of mediation and relaxation.

This workshop is appropriate for all levels of practitioners.  Deep dive into the understanding, history, and practice of Sun Salutations as we celebrate Summer Solstice!

What to expect: This workshop will be held at light warm room temperature. Please bring a mat, towel, water, and yoga props if you have them (2 blocks & 1 strap). If not, we will have extras available for you to use during the workshop. Please arrive a few minutes early to allow time to set up.

Cancellation Policy: You must cancel your Workshop or Series registration at least 48 hours prior to the start of the event to receive credit to your account.

Savitha Enner, RYT-500

Savitha Enner grew up in India and studied yoga and yogic life style through her ancestors and teachers from a young age. She has integrated these teachings with over 700 hours of teacher training she has taken in the US to help her students adopt the ancient teachings into modern day practices. Her movement classes are alignment based vinyasa style practices intending to ignite curiosity among her students about their body, energy and mind. She believes that yoga is a practice of self realization and can be cultivated through consistent and dedicated practice. She teaches Asana, Pranayama, Meditation, Vedic Chanting and vegetarian cooking classes to immerse Yoga as a foundation for a holistic and purposeful life.
